Delivery of a Novel Cyber Security Concept.

Nexor, a leading UK cyber security company approached P3M Works to supply project management expertise for an ongoing project for a government organisation to create a new and complex cyber security concept. But, the project was suffering from delays.

The Challenge.

Nexor, brought in P3M Works to support a government project that aimed to deliver a technically novel and complex security concept. The project was under pressure, constrained by a fixed-price agreement, multiple stakeholders, and an ambitious scope. Delivery was already slipping, and there was a risk of further delays if the issues weren’t quickly addressed.

The Solution.

P3M Works stepped into a leadership role to stabilise delivery and reset direction. We reviewed the existing delivery structure and identified gaps in planning, communication, and execution. Working closely with Nexor and the client, we implemented a phased agile delivery model that allowed incremental progress while staying within cost and time constraints. We also helped shape a key element of the security concept itself, drawing on our experience of similar projects in the government space. To regain control of delivery, we built a technically capable team, re-established stakeholder confidence, and introduced a milestone-led schedule backed by clear governance and accountability.
