Cyber Resilience Consultancy.

P3M Works was selected by The University of West England to join their bank of Digital Consultants to provide cyber guidance and support to a select number of SME organisations through their Workforce of the Future support programme.

The Challenge.

P3M Works was selected by The University of West England to join their bank of Digital Consultants to provide cyber guidance and support to a select number of SME organisations through their Workforce of the Future support programme. UWE wanted to provide expert cyber guidance to SMEs they were supporting, to raise their cyber hygiene levels and promote cyber security across the region. Challenge The University of the West of England (UWE) wanted to give SMEs across the region a boost in cyber resilience. Many of these organisations had limited resources, inconsistent cyber hygiene, and no formal understanding of their risks — leaving them exposed. UWE needed a partner who could not only assess their current posture, but also translate complex threats into meaningful, actionable support.

The Solution.

P3M Works was selected to join UWE’s Digital Consultants panel to provide tailored cyber consultancy through the Workforce of the Future programme. Our goal was clear: help each SME understand its current cyber maturity, identify its key vulnerabilities, and put a roadmap in place for tangible improvement. We took a hands-on approach from the outset — engaging with each business to deliver a structured cyber review, aligned to the Cyber Essentials framework. Once the gaps were identified, we didn’t stop at recommendations. We rolled up our sleeves and helped each SME implement real, achievable improvements, from policy guidance to technical controls. For some, this included bespoke training or tailored risk workshops. For others, it meant getting under the hood of existing systems to shore up defences in a practical, resource-sensitive way.
